Haus auf Møn — Two stunning modern holiday houses on the Danish island of Møn

Accommodation

Lange Linie and Black and Bright are two stunning holiday houses on the Danish island Møn. Their perfectly crafted interiors exude a calmness which stems from their sublime relationship to the landscape.

Both houses feature floor-to-ceiling sliding windows which open out onto the breathtaking natural surroundings. In summer the landscape becomes part of the house, and in winter you can enjoy the cosy warmth of the wood stove while looking out into the fields.

At the heart of each house is a sauna, connected to the outside, in which you can enjoy this relaxing and therapeutic Nordic tradition.

Hand built by the architect in 2005 and 2008, they both feature a fully equipped kitchen, stereo system and television, to name but a few of the amenities that will round out a relaxing seaside holiday on this beautiful island.

About the building and the people

Jan Henrik Jansen, a German architect living in Copenhagen, designed and built these two houses in his spare time. You will notice his skill immediately, as it is present in every detail.
